Man Stabbed In Abdomen Outside Elks Lodge
Victim was stabbed three times, sustaining potentially life-threatening injuries.

EAST AUSTIN, TX == Late Thursday, a man was stabbed after a congregation taking place at an Elks lodge and was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police initially believed they were responding to the stabbing at a nearby apartment complex at 11:40 p.m., KEYE-TV reports. Instead, they were surprised to find the stabbing actually happened in the Elks lodge at 7237 E. Highway 290, east of Nelson Field.
Police are still trying to sort out what happened, but said tensions escalated in the parking lot among people who had attended a meeting at the lodge.

Those tensions led to a man being stabbed three times in the abdomen, police said.
Austin-Travis County EMS officials said the victim was transported to University Medical Center Brackenridge with potentially life-threatening injuries. An investigation into the incident continues, and police have identified a “known suspect” although no arrests have been made.
