Motorcyclist Seriously Injured During Late Morning East Austin Crash

The man is his 30s is just the latest motorcyclist to be injured on Austin roadways in a scene becoming all too common.

EAST AUSTIN, TX -- A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a Wednesday morning collision, emergency officials said.

Austin-Travis County EMS officials said a man in his 30s was transported to University Center-Brackenridge with serious injuries following the 11:30 a.m. crash that happened at Oak Springs Drive and Airport Boulevard.

The cause of the crash is still unknown. Police closed off the section of roadway as they launched an investigation as to the cause.
