Much-Anticipated Kolaches And Beer Spot Opens In East Austin
Batch Craft Beer & Kolaches, 3220 Manor Rd., opening Friday at noon offers 400 different beers and eight distinct types of kolaches.

EAST AUSTIN, TX — For lovers of beer and kolaches, the opening of a new business today will add some delicious reasons to say "Thank God It's Friday." The much-anticipated Batch Craft Beer & Kolaches, is scheduled to open Friday at noon.
The establishment at 3220 Manor Rd. is the brainchild of brothers Noah and Josh Lit, according to information found on the taproom and retail craft beer shop's website. And talk about a beer selection: More than 400 brews will be available at the 3,000-square-foot site, with an interior featuring café style tables. Outside, an expansive 2,000 square feet of space has a beer garden as its centerpiece accented with vintage-inspired bar stools and picnic tables.
This is a bakery, coffee shop, beer garden and bottle shop all rolled into one. The Batch is set to offer a dozen rotating selections on tap, and will allow customers to create their own, tailored six-packs from among the extensive beer selection. Among the breweries represented will be Austin Beerworks, Blue Owl, Hops & Grain, and Jolly Pumpkin.

The menu created by pastry chef Jasmine Jones features eight different kolaches, including: Micklethwait Craft Meats Brisket, Pickle & Swiss; Micklethwait Craft Meats Pork Sausage & Cheese; Jalapeno & Cheese; and Chocolate Caramel Pecan.
