Multiple People Stabbed At East Austin Apartment Complex

EAST AUSTIN, TX — Five people were reportedly stabbed at an East Austin apartment complex on Sunday evening, officials said.

AS many as five people were stabbed off Montopolis Drive and East Riverside Drive, according to Austin-Travis County EMS medics. One of the stabbing victims, male in his 30s, was transported to the hospital with injuries considered to be life-threatening.

Also injured were another male in his 30s and two females, one in her 30s and the other in her 20s sustaining non-life-threatening injuries. A fifth victim declined medical treatment, medics said.

It's unclear what may have prompted the multiple stabbing or if a suspect is in custody.
