Officials Take Part In East Austin Park Cleanup
Police were joined by a number of local dignitaries in helping to clean up Givens Park located at 3811 E. 12th St. on Sunday.
EAST AUSTIN, TX — City officials took part in a cleanup of an in East Austin on Sunday.
Members of the Austin Police Department were joined by Austin Council Member Ora Houston, City Manager Spencer Cronk, Hands Full of Cash Car Club, City of Austin Parks and Recreation Department and Nelson Linder, president of the local NAACP branch, in the "Mustard Seed" Givens Park Community Cleanup on Sunday, March 25, 2018, at 2 p.m.
Givens Park is located at 3811 E. 12th St.

The goal of the project was for the community to come together to clean Givens Park and make it a place for all to enjoy, police officials said.
