Pedestrian In His 60s Critically Injured In East Austin Car Crash
Incident just after 9 p.m. at corner of Springdale Road and Airport Boulevard left man with potentially life-threatening injuries.

EAST AUSTIN, TX — A man in his 60s sustained critical, life-threatening injuries after being struck by a car in East Austin late Thursday, emergency officials said.
The collision occurred just after 9 p.m. at the intersection of Springdale Road and Airport Boulevard, according to Austin-Travis County EMS medics.
Medics responded to the crash at approximately 9:18 p.m. Thursday. As medics performed CPR on the victim, they transported him to a hospital for treatment of injuries deemed serious and potentially life-threatening.
