Pedestrian Killed After Being Hit By Car In East Austin
Austin-Travis EMS medics were dispatched to intersection of Red River Street at Luther Lane at 3:05 a.m. but were unable to save victim.
EAST AUSTIN, TX — A pedestrian was killed overnight after being struck by a car in East Austin, medics said.
Austin-Travis EMS medics were dispatched to the intersection of Red River Street at Luther Lane at 3:05 a.m. to find a man in his 40s injured after being struck. Medics initially performed CPR on the man in an attempt to resuscitate him, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
It's unclear if the motorist stayed at the scene. Patch will update as more details are made available.
