Pedestrian Seriously Hurt After Being Struck By Car In East Austin

The woman sustained serious, but not life-threatening, injuries.

EAST AUSTIN, TX -- A pedestrian was seriously hurt after being struck by a car last night.

Austin-Travis County EMS officials said a woman was hit by a car at the 1900 block of Greenwood Ave., near Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. The incident occurred at about 10 p.m. on Tuesday.

The woman was transported to University Medical Center Brackenridge for serious injuries that were not considered to be life-threatening.
