PhoNatic Chain Collecting Toiletries For Homeless People Throughout Central Texas

Those wishing to donate to Mobile Loaves & Fishes can drop off toiletry packs and get a free fountain drink.

EAST AUSTIN, TX — One Central Texas restaurant chain is making a difference in the community pho the better. PhoNatic restaurants are celebrating National Soup Month through the end of January with a couple of initiatives benefiting Mobile Loaves & Fishes.

The purveyor of Vietnamese cuisine has detailed its charitable efforts on its Facebook page. Mobile Loaves & Fishes is a nonprofit providing food and clothing for homeless people that is currently seeking toiletries.

PhoNatic restaurants will serve as drop-off points for those wishing to donate to Mobile Loaves & Fishes, which has put out a call for conditioner; deodorant; lotion; shampoo; soap; and toothpaste. The restaurant locations are located throughout the region: The Northcross location in North Austin located at 2525 W. Anderson Lane, Building 3, Suite 280; the Southpark store in South Austin located at 9900 South Interstate 35, Suite P500; the East Austin restaurant located at Mueller, 1201 Barbara Jordan, Suite 1460; the Cedar Park site, 1468 E Whitestone Blvd., Suite 200; and the Round Rock location, 200 University Blvd., Suite 530;

Customers bringing unopened travel-size toiletries get a free fountain drink each time they donate. The aim is to create "survival packs" containing toiletries.

Another way PhoNatic is giving back is by donating $1 every time a restaurant guest tags a photo of their pho dish on social media with the hashtag #SoupPhoAll on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter.
