Police Investigate East Austin Bank Branch Robbery
Heist at the Wells Fargo bank branch located on 1825 S. Pleasant Valley Rd. occurred just after 1 p.m. on Monday afternoon.

AUSTIN, TEXAS — Police are investigating a bank robbery that occurred in East Austin on Monday, officials said.
The heist at the Wells Fargo bank branch located on 1825 S. Pleasant Valley Rd. occurred just after 1 p.m. Police said the man entered the bank before demanding money and fled with an undetermined amount of cash.
The suspect is described as being six feet tall. He was last seen wearing black jeans, matching black hoodie and goggles. No weapon was displayed during the robbery, police said, and there were no reported injuries.
The robbery marked the 19th bank heist so far this year, police noted.
