Police Seek Help Locating Suspects In East Austin Convenience Store Robbery

Surveillance camera images were released showing two suspects in September robbery when weapons-wielding men took cash.

EAST AUSTIN, TX — Police are seeking help from the public in locating two suspects accused of robbing a convenience store last month, officials said Thursday.

At about 5:55 a.m., police responded to the scene of a robbery at a 7-Eleven store located at 3848 Airport Blvd. The victim told police two suspects entered the business while threatening him with a weapon and demanding money. The suspects then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

There were no injuries reported as a result of the incident, police said.

The first suspect is described as a black male in his early 20s. Of average build he is between five feet, ten inches and five feet, 11 inches tall and was wearing black pants and a white hoodie with thin horizontal stripes at the time of the incident. The other suspect is also described as a black male in his early 20s with a height between five feet, nine inches and five feet, ten inches tall. He is described as tall with a thin build and was last seen wearing a white skull cap, a plaid shirt around his neck, a white tank top and blue jeans.
