Police Seek Man Who Shot At Capital Metro Bus After Argument
What began as an argument inside the bus among passengers turned potentially deadly when suspect shot at then-moving bus after he exited.

EAST AUSTIN, TEXAS — Police seek help from the public in identifying a man seen on surveillance footage firing a a handgun at another person inside a city bus on last week.
The incident occurred just before noon at the 1100 block of Springdale Road on Oct. 24, according to a police advisory. The incident started as an argument among passengers inside a Capital Metro bus over a lost item, police said. After someone threw the suspect's property out of the bus, forcing the suspect to exit, the man sought by police is said to have pulled out a gun and firing it at the then-moving vehicle.
No injuries were reported as a result of the incident, police said.

The suspect is described as a black man in his mid 20s standing at about five feet, eight inches tall. He was last seen wearing an orange bandana, gray sweatpants, a gray hoodie with a black vest and white-and-black tennis shoes.

Anyone recognizing the suspect is urged to notify police as to his identity and/or whereabouts by calling (512) 974-5268. Police released surveillance camera images of the suspect in the hopes someone might recognize him and alert police.
