Reward Offered After East Austin Wreck Leaves Motorcyclist Clinging To Life
Police believe a utility pole was left across the lane of traffic intentionally to cause a wreck.

EAST AUSTIN, TX -- A $2,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest of someone who may have intentionally caused a crash that left a motorcyclist with life-threatening injuries.
An accident on March 27 in the 4900 block of Bolm Road was caused when a motorcyclist was unable to avoid hitting a utility pole in the middle of the street. Police now say the pole was likely placed across the lane of traffic intentionally.
The motorcyclist remains in critical condition as a result, sustaining life-threatening injuries from the collision.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at at (512) 974-4773 or Crimestoppers at (512) 472-TIPS. Friends and family of the victim are offering the $2,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of whoever might be responsible.
