Donald Trump Schedules August Fundraising Trip To Austin
The real estate mogul makes his second fundraising trip to Texas, a departure from his vow to self-fund his campaign upon entering the race.

AUSTIN, TX -- GOP presidential nominee -- who boasted at his campaign's onset that he would be self-funding, making him beholden to no one -- will be coming to Austin for a fundraiser, according to a published report.
The Texas Tribune reported that Trump will attend an evening fundraiser on Aug. 23 in Austin, confirming the information with Mica Mosbacher -- former finance co-chair of the Republic National Committee who's helping Trump gain ground in Texas.
This marks the second time Trump has swung through Texas. In June, he had a two-day visit to the Lone Star state hosting fundraisers in Dallas, San Antonio and Houston. In Dallas and The Woodlands, he also staged companion rallies.
