Sinkhole Closes MLK Boulevard, Water On Road
Police initially posted about the sinkhole around 4 a.m. Wednesday.

AUSTIN, TX — A section of East Martin Luther King Boulevard was closed by a sinkhole Wednesday morning, according to reports.
The sinkhole is in the 3000 block of MLK Boulevard, between Airport Boulevard and Harvey Street, according to the Austin Police Department's Facebook page.
There were no injuries or traffic accidents reported, police said. The police initially posted about the sinkhole around 4 a.m. Wednesday.

KVUE reported that as of 5:45 a.m., water was flowing over the roadway and Austin Water said crews were going to the scene to fix a foot-long water main break.
