UPDATE: SWAT Situation in East Austin Resolved
Police responded to the report of a woman being assaulted outside around 4:45 p.m.

Austin Police responded to a SWAT call in East Austin Saturday evening. Police said the call came around 4:46 p.m. about a woman being assaulted outside in the 6600 block of Johnny Morris Cove.
According to police, the woman was located safe and was evaluated by EMS. She did not need to be transported to the hospital.
Police said they believed there may be a second female being held against her will in one of the nearby residences, which prompted the SWAT response. She was located along with a male suspect in a different area of the city just after 8 p.m.
