Three Injured In East Austin Pedestrian-Involved Traffic Accident
A man in his 40s and a woman in her 50s were taken to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries, according to EMS officials.

East Austin, TX -- Three people were injured in a traffic accident Saturday involving a two vehicles and a pedestrian in East Austin, emergency officials said.
The accident occurred at around 1 p.m. at the intersection of Montopolis Drive at E. Ben White Boulevard, Austin-Travis County EMS officials reported via Twitter.
Two victims -- a man in his 40s and a woman estimated to be in her 50s -- were transported to St. David's South Austin Medical Center for treatment.

EMS officials categorized the traffic accident victims' injuries as serious, but not life-threatening. Offiials didn't specify if the victims hospitalized were motorists or the pedestrian, nor did they supply information on the third victim.
