Two Men Injured In East Austin Shooting
Incident along 1800 block of Chicon Street that occurred early Sunday morning led to victims' hospitalization with serious injuries.

EAST AUSTIN, TX — Two men were hospitalized with serious injuries following a shooting in East Austin early Sunday, officials said.
Police responded to the 1800 block of Chicon Street, just off East Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, at about 2:30 a.m. According to Austin-Travis County EMS medics, a man in his 20s and another in his 30s were transported to Dell Seton Medical Center with gunshot wounds deemed serious yet not life-threatening.
An investigation into the incident continues, police said. Officials added no threat to the public exists, inferring the victim and unknown suspect(s) likely know each other.
