Two People Dead In East Austin Home Likely Murder-Suicide: Police

Paisley R. Langmade, 37, and Caleb G. Harris, 31, were found dead inside a home along the 5600 block of Cordell Lane late Tuesday night.

NORTH AUSTIN, TX — Police on Thursday identified two people found dead in a North Austin home earlier this week.

Paisley R. Langmade, 37, and Caleb G. Harris, 31, were found dead inside a home along the 5600 block of Cordell Lane. Police initially responded Tuesday to an emergency call just before midnight from somebody concerned for their welfare, police said in a news advisory.

Officers entered the home after receiving no response to their knock at the front door. The bodies were found in a bedroom inside the home. While the Travis County Medical Examiner’s office has yet to rule on the manner and cause of death, the Austin Police Department is investigating this incident as a murder-suicide, police said in a news advisory.
