Water Main Break Leaves East Austin Elementary School Without Running Water
Potable drinking water, hand sanitizers, portable restrooms dispatched to site while crews work to repair ruptured line.

EAST AUSTIN, TX -- A municipal water main break on Friday morning left nearby Maplewood Elementary School with no running water, according to a news report.
Spectrum News reports Austin Independent School District Service Center officials secured hand sanitizer, portable restrooms and water to the school until the situation is resolved.There is no estimate being given as to when repairs on the ruptured water main might be fixed.
While repairs were being made, traffic was being diverted around the East Austin neighborhood where work is being conducted.
