Police Track Alleged Burglar Via East Austin Pawn Shop Sale
Kaylee Morgan Gustin, 24, accused of entering Central Austin homes via unlocked doors, selling television to pawn shop on same day.

EAST AUSTIN, TX — A woman accused of robbing a Central Austin home earlier this month has been linked to three other burglaries in the same area, according to police.
Kaylee Morgan Gustin, 24, allegedly entered a West Campus residence through an unlocked door some time after 11:30 a.m., KVUE reported, citing a newly released arrest affidavit as the basis of their report.
According to the affidavit, victims accused Gustin of taking a Samsung 40-inch television, a Sony soundbar and an RCA antenna. Police tracked the serial number from the television and found it had been sold to a pawn shop located in the northeast part of East Austin at 4:52 the same day, officials said.

Now, Gustin is being fingered in three other separate robberies in the same area along West Campus. The modus operandi is the same, with entry gained through unlocked doors, the news station reported.
Gustin was charged with burglary of a habitation with a bail set at $30,000, according to Travis County Jail records.
