Woman Dead After Early-Morning Wreck
Female thrown from car, another victim hospitalized.

EAST AUSTIN, TX -- Police responded to a deadly car accident early Wednesday morning along Tillery Street.
Arriving at the scene after a 2:30 a.m. 911 call, police found a woman believed to have been in her 20s dead at the scene. Police said she had been ejected from the vehicle.
A man who had also been in the car was taken to the hospital for injuries that are not life-threatening.

The vehicular homicide unit is investigating the crash, according to a media report, in trying to determine if alcohol consumption may have played a factor. It’s also unknown who the driver was.
Crews quickly cleared the scene of the crash near Lyons Road to facilitate rush-hour traffic.
