Woman Dies, Man Injured In East Austin Thanksgiving Day Wreck
The collision occurred at 10:30 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day at the intersection of Martin Luther King Boulevard and Temple Drive.

EAST AUSTIN, TX — A woman was killed and a man ended up in critical condition after a late night crash on Thanksgiving Day in East Austin.
The fatal crash occurred at around 10:30 p.m. Thursday on Martin Luther King Boulevard and Temple Drive. Police said the woman in her 20s was driving a Lexus SUV while headed west on MLK before losing control of the vehicle and veering onto oncoming traffic.
The woman initially was transported to the hospital with critical, life-threatening injuries before succumbing to her wounds en route to the hospital. The male victim, also is in his 20s, was rushed to the hospital with injuries deemed serious but not life threatening.
