Woman, Girl Killed In Wreck Involving Big Rig East Of Austin
The wreck occurred in eastern Travis County at around 7:30 p.m., leaving a woman in her 40s and a 12-year-old girl dead.

EAST TRAVIS COUNTY, TX — A girl under the age of 12 and a woman were killed in a car crash involving an 18-wheeler in the eastern portion of the county on Tuesday evening, emergency officials confirmed.
The crash occurred at about 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, according to Austin-Travis County EMS officials. The woman, believed to be in her 40s, and the girl were dead at the scene, medics said.
The collision occurred at the intersection of the Texas 130 southbound service road and the U.S. 290 westbound service road, according to Austin-Travis County EMS officials. The site of the crash is located in Manor, Texas.

EMS officials noted a third accident victim declined treatment. It wasn't clear if police issued any citations in relation to the accident, nor was it clear if the driver of the big rig was injured.
