Woman Stabbed In East Austin 4 Days After Similar Incident Near Same Intersection
Latest victim suffers non-life-threatening injuries after being stabbed just before 9 p.m. Monday night.

EAST AUSTIN, TX — A woman was stabbed Monday night in East Austin — the second person since Friday to be attacked with a knife at that same location.
The incident took place at East 7th Street and Pleasant Valley Road just before 9 p.m. on Monday, according to a report in the Austin American-Statesman. After sustaining what were deemed to be non-life-threatening injuries, the woman in her 20s got on a bus to reach the hospital before being convinced by medics to secure an ambulance, the newspaper reported.
It's unclear if any arrest has been made as a result of the incident.

The stabbing incident comes two days after a man was stabbed at Zaragoza Park near the same intersection. The victim in the previous stabbing sustained much more serious injuries categorized by medics as potentially life-threatening.
