EPFD honors 2 fallen firefighters from El Paso at memorial (kvia.com) — El Paso firefighters Angel Bustamante Jr. and Paul McGill were among 288 fallen fire service members honored at a national memorial in Colorado Springs. El Paso Fire Department leaders, city officials, and union representatives traveled to pay tribute, emphasizing how each loss is felt deeply by local families, departments, and the wider community.

Photo exhibit brings local art to El Paso Airport travelers (kvia.com) — Travelers passing through El Paso International Airport can now explore a refreshed Photography Enthusiasts of El Paso exhibit showcasing 37 images of local people, nature, and color. The city says the display, running through February 28, 2027 in the rental car center lobby, offers a unique window into the community through the eyes of Borderland photographers.

El Pasoans Can't Stop Laughing at This El Cometa Video (klaq.com) — El Paso diners are cracking up over an Instagram joke that pretends Colorado's Casa Bonita is actually local favorite El Cometa, complete with waterfalls and macaws. Locals quickly jumped into the comments to correct the mix-up or play along, all while celebrating the real El Cometa and other beloved El Paso enchilada spots.
