El Paso man arrested on 45 felony charges, including child porn counts (kfoxtv.com) — Law enforcement in El Paso County arrested a 34-year-old man at an East El Paso apartment complex on 45 felony charges, including child pornography and online solicitation of a minor. He was booked into the downtown El Paso County Detention Facility, and constables are urging residents to share tips about other wanted individuals through Crime Stoppers or the non-emergency line.
3. First ever 'Mission Trails Music Festival' leaves people wanting more (kvia.com) — El Paso residents can head to Socorro Road today for the free, first-ever Mission Trail Music Festival, running from 1 to 10 p.m. with food, music, and cultural performances. Organizers and attendees hope the celebration of local heritage becomes an annual tradition, bringing more community-focused events to different parts of the area.
4. El Paso Locomotive FC beats Orange County, secures 1st round home playoff match (ktsm.com) — El Paso Locomotive FC has clinched a first-round home playoff match after edging Orange County 2–1 at Southwest University Park, keeping them atop the Western Conference. Local fans can now look ahead to hosting Sacramento Republic FC at the downtown stadium on Saturday, Oct. 17, with Locomotive riding strong momentum into the postseason.
5. Will El Paso get snow this winter?
