Texas Coach Enthusiast Goes To Outlet Store. What She Sees Leaves Her In Shock: ‘That’s Crazy’
"You don't sound crazy."
A Texas woman visited her local Coach outlet to see the latest drop, but left without purchasing a single thing.
Here’s why that’s so unusual for the brand enthusiast and what about the latest designs turned her off.
TikTok creator Valerierico (@valeriericom) posted a video about her Coach ambivalence on Dec. 3.

“I’m actually shocked that I didn’t like it,” she says as she leaves the store. “I’m actually shocked I didn’t buy anything.”
Just a few moments earlier, Valerierico was excited to get into the store to check out the Nolita 19 with Cherry Print. Valerierico was so excited about the drop that she initially wanted to purchase the bag online. However, she decided to check it out in the store first, and it’s a good thing that she did.

What does she think about the Nolita 19 with Cherry Print?
The TikToker cuts to a clip of the bag inside the store. “Yes, at first glance it is gorgeous—don’t get me wrong,” she says. “But when I was looking at it up close, I was just not a big fan. Yes, I understand that it’s not real sequins, but I wish it did look more realistic. I just think by itself, without the sequins, the print actually looks good. But when you add in the sequins, I feel like the background just looks so fake.”
To further demonstrate her point, she walks over to another display and picks up a similar print on a chalk background. “I needed to see if it looked any different on the chalk background with the black cherries,” she explains. “And, actually, I think it does. Mainly, because the reflection that they’re trying to simulate is white. So it doesn’t stand out the same as it stands out on the black.”
Valerierico also says she likes the black with cherry print on a bigger canvas bag. That one comes without sequins. “I don’t know why they didn’t do this in all the bags, because I actually love this,” she says. “I would have bought it if only they had made it in the Mini Rowan along with the matching charm, but sadly this was not the case.”
What does the public think of the Nolita 19 with Cherry Print?
In the comments section, many viewers said they feel Valerierico’s pain on this issue. Many expressed preference for past cherry themed prints released by Coach.
“Me when I went to the Coach store 100% ready to buy the Brooklyn bag and then changed my mind,” wrote one viewer.
A second person said, “Agree. I don’t like this new print at all. This is the best cherry print that dropped in my opinion.” The commenter added a photo of a pink cherry wristlet that was released as part of a collection in 2024.
Several others offered design advice to the Coach team. “The sequins ruined it,” wrote one person. “It would look better if it were rhinestones.”
Another person said, “You don’t sound crazy. It’s actually nice for someone to give an honest review that’s not completely positive.”
