City of Forney Hosts Public Meeting on Northside Elevated Water Tank
The event will take place on Wednesday, May 27 from 5-6:30 p.m. at City Hall.
The City of Forney Engineering Department is hosting a public meeting and open house for the Northside Elevated Water Tank and Connecting Water Lines Project this week.
The city posted the event details to social media on Friday. According to the post, the meeting will take place on Wednesday, May 27, from 5-6:30 p.m. at the City Hall Annex Council Chambers (101 E. Main St.).
The project, which is located near Deacon Dr., is designed to improve water system reliability, increase capacity, and help address low water pressure concerns in North Forney.

Residents are encouraged to attend so they can learn more about the project, ask questions, and consult with city staff and project representatives.
In other Forney news, the city issued a traffic alert for Tuesday starting at 8 a.m. Bois D' Arc between Dalview and College St. will be closed for the majority of the day to allow for a waterline repair.

Traffic will be detoured via College St., FM 548, and Pecan. Residents should plan for delays and use alternate routes if possible.
