The Fort Worth City Council will convene at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, June 9, in Council Chamber at City Hall. Here is what is on the agenda.

The city published a blog post with a preview of the agenda on Friday. According to the post, council members will vote on multiple agenda items at the meeting.

Those agenda items include a $100 million economic development agreement with Austin-based Seco Ventures to support the construction of a new multifamily property on Panther Island. The development would feature a 12-story apartment tower and ground-floor retail.

Also on the agenda is a 10-year management agreement for the Will Rogers Memorial Center. If approved, the provision would provide funding for the transition of employees and operations to the new management structure.

Fort Worth's new Master Transportation Plan is up for a vote as well. It will serve as the city's blueprint for future transportation investments and policies.

City Council will start the process to issue up to $104 million in certificates of obligation to fund street, facility, and infrastructure improvements across the city.

There are also amendments totaling more than $9.7 million to the Crime Control and Prevention District to support a variety of public safety initiatives aimed at crime prevention, law enforcement, and community safety efforts.

Additionally, council members will consider several items tied to the FIFA World Cup preparations, including public safety grant funding and parking-related accommodations for an estimated five-week event period downtown.
