American Airlines pays $200,000 in blindness discrimination lawsuit (wfaa.com) — A Fort Worth-based American Airlines employee who developed cortical blindness will receive $200,000 after federal officials said the company failed to provide reasonable accommodations at its local office. The settlement with the EEOC also requires American to build key web accessibility standards into new software expected to roll out in 2027, potentially affecting how future Fort Worth staff work with company systems.
