Fort Worth Stockyards parking garage expected to break ground this fall (star-telegram.com) — If you dread hunting for a spot in the Fort Worth Stockyards, a new 296-space parking garage at 2458 Ellis Ave is slated to start construction in October and open in fall 2027. Recently approved by the Fort Worth Zoning Commission and City Council, the multi-story structure will blend with historic buildings and add ground-floor commercial space for visitors and local businesses.
   

2. Think pink as Trinity Metro's new color-coded bus line prepares to launch (fortworthreport.org) — Fort Worth riders will soon see bright pink Trinity Metro buses as Route 1 is rebranded La Línea Rosa, linking downtown's Central Station with La Gran Plaza starting Sept. 16. The Latino-themed line keeps its schedule but moves to bus bay A, highlighting Near Southside, Hemphill Street, and Hispanic heritage as part of a broader color-coded system.
   

3. Fort Worth-area housing market stable as federal legislation targets increased affordability (fortworthreport.org) — Fort Worth's housing market is holding steady, with July's median home price dipping slightly to $333,000 even as Tarrant County overall saw modest gains. Local real estate leaders say new bipartisan federal housing legislation should gradually expand supply and options, potentially easing affordability pressures for Fort Worth workers like teachers, police, and firefighters over the next few years.
   

4. On a Tank of Gas: Fort Worth Stockyards (texomashomepage.com) — If you're looking for a close-to-home outing, the Fort Worth Stockyards offers twice-daily Longhorn cattle drives, historic streets, and plenty of food, music, and shopping.
