| Updated

COLLEGE STATION, TX — Texas A&M has reportedly agreed to a 10-year contract with Jimbo Fisher to become the next football coach in Aggieland. Fisher, who was an accomplished SEC offensive coordinator at LSU before moving to the same same position at Florida State and becoming the heir apparent to the legendary Bobby Bowden, has agreed to a multi-year contract that'll pay him handsomely.

According to Bryan's KBTX, Fisher will arrive in College Station's Easterwood Airport on Sunday, with acknowledgment going to the TV station's unspecified sources.

The deal will be worth a reported $7.5 million per year. Fisher is still slated to coach the Seminoles this Saturday against Louisiana-Monroe in a makeup game originally scheduled for September but moved because of Hurricane Irma.
