• South Texas News acquires Hood County News (editorandpublisher.com) — Granbury’s primary local newspaper, the Hood County News, has been sold to South Texas News Inc., with the new ownership taking over on October 1. The weekly paper will continue serving Granbury and Hood County, while Hyde Media Group keeps the printing operation. The new owner says he plans to maintain strong local journalism across print and digital platforms.
