Houston Drive-By Shooting At Vigil Leaves 1 Dead, 13 Hurt: Police
A gunman opened fire at a candlelight vigil for a Baytown homicide victim Friday night, according to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.
BAYTOWN, TX — One person was killed and 13 injured in a drive-by shooting in Baytown on Sunday evening, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office.
The shooting occurred just before 7 p.m. at a candlelight vigil for a Baytown homicide victim. The vigil was being held at a food truck park at 1403 North Market Loop in Baytown. As balloons were being released, shots were fired into the crowd, according to authorities.
Disha Allen, a 25-year-old woman from Humble, was pronounced dead at a local hospital, and three others were flown to a hospital in critical condition. The other victims' injuries were considered non-fatal, Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said.

The shooters' car is believed to be a small, dark-colored sedan, authorities said. Anyone with information on the shooting is encouraged to call Crime Stoppers at (713) 274-9100.
