1 Dead, 3 Taken To Hospital In North Houston House Fire: HCFMO

The three injured residents were treated for smoke inhalation. It is not known what started the fire.

HOUSTON, TX — A house fire in north Houston killed one person and injured three others Friday morning, according to the Harris County Fire Marshal's Office.

The Harris County Fire Marshal's Office, along with Precinct 1 Constable's deputies and the Houston Fire Department responded to the fire, which occurred near 2700 Trementina Drive, according to authorities.

A resident was pronounced dead at the scene, and two children and one adult were taken to the hospital and treated for smoke inhalation, according to authorities. There were no smoke detectors in the house, and the cause of the fire is currently unknown, according to HCFMO.
