Their vehicles, a silver Toyota Corolla and white Nissan Frontier, were both stopped in the moving lanes of traffic and both victims exited their vehicles. The driver of a white Chevrolet 2500 pickup truck was also traveling westbound on the South Loop and was following a vehicle in the flow of traffic, but was not able to see ahead.
