2 Killed, 4 Injured In Horrific Crash In Spring
A silver Honda Civic ran off the SH 249 feeder road, and crashed into a minivan at the Grant Rd intersection, flipping both vehicles: Police

SPRING, TX — A two- vehicle accident at a busy northwest Houston intersection left two people dead and injured four others, including an 18-month old child.
The accident happened just after 12:30 p.m. at State Highway 249 and Grant Road in Cypress.
According to investigators from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, the driver of silver Honda Civic left the feeder road on 249 southbound and hit a Honda Odyssey Minivan that was stopped at the intersection, flipping both vehicles over.

Investigators said a passenger in each of the vehicles died at the scene, one a 19-year old woman.
Three adults, and an 18 month old toddler were injured in the crash.

All of the injured were taken by LifeFlight to an area hospital and are listed in critical condition.
Investigators said alcohol did not play a role, but speed was a factor in the crash, KTRK reported.
