Aggravated Robbery At Family Dollar Caught On Video
The robbery occurred in North Houston on July 21.
HOUSTON, TX — The Houston Police Department is searching for two men who were captured on video robbing a Family Dollar at 12801 Willow Chase Drive. The robbery occurred July 21 at 7 p.m., HPD wrote on YouTube.
The incident began after two men walked behind the counter and placed a handgun to an employees back and demanded the money from the register, HPD wrote. The employee complied with the suspect’s demands and while he tried to open the register, the suspect hit him in the back of the head with the gun, causing him to fall. The suspects was ultimately able to get into the register and take the money. The suspects then fled the location on foot toward an apartment complex at 8301 Willow Place, HPD said.
