Aggravated Robbery At Houston Hotel Captured On Video

Police are searching for two suspects who robbed a man in North Houston Aug. 16.

HOUSTON, TX — The Houston Police Department is searching for two men seen on surveillance video robbing a man at a hotel parking lot in North Houston on Aug. 16. The robbery occurred at the Timber Inn Hotel at 719 Crosstimbers, HPD wrote on YouTube along with the video.Two men can be seen approaching a truck with the victim inside at 11:55 p.m.

The victim had just picked up a prostitute at a gas station near Airline and Tidwell and they were in the vehicle talking, HPD wrote. The suspect pointed a handgun at the victim and demanded his money. When the victim said he did not have any money, the suspect struck him on the face with his gun, HPD wrote. The victim backed his truck up in an attempt to leave the parking lot and was approached by a second suspect, who shot his firearm at least twice at the truck as he was driving off, hitting him in his shoulder, HPD said.
