Amazon Hiring 2,500 Employees For Houston Fulfillment Center
New employees would be working alongside robotics technology, and be eligible for full time benefits on day one.
HOUSTON, TX — Need a job? Amazon is hiring right now to fill positions 2,500 full time positions at its new fulfillment center currently under construction at the Pinto Business Park.
The fulfillment center, the first in the Houston area, will be a robotics fulfillment center, which means new employees will be working alongside robotic technology to fill online orders. Amazon announced plans to in July 2016 to bring 1,000 new jobs to its 855,000 square-foot fulfilment center, but with the use of robotics technology, more employees are needed to keep up with the faster pace, the Houston Chronicle reported.

The robotics technology delivers inventory to warehouse employees to pack and ship items, such as books and electronic items.
Amazon has several fulfillment locations in Texas, including Coppell, Dallas, Haslet, Fort Worth, Irving, Schertz, San Antonio and San Marcos.

New full time employees at the Amazon fulfillment center will receive a competitive hourly wage, 401K, comprehensive benefits package to include medical and dental benefits, which all start on the first day of employment, KPRC reported.
The new facility opens this summer.
