Police Issue Amber Alert Issued For Missing Baby

Chamali Flores was reported missing after her mother, Carolina Flores, was found stabbed to death in her Greenspoint home.

HOUSTON, TX — An Amber Alert has been issued for a missing six-week old baby girl after her mother was found stabbed to death in her Greenspoint apartment.

Police issued the Amber Alert for Chamali Flores at about 5 p.m. Tuesday after her mother, identified as Carolina Flores, was found brutally murdered in their apartment, at 185 Goodson Drive Tuesday afternoon.

Police initially believed that the baby was taken by her father, identified as Marcos Mariano Tomas Palacios, 34, who was also a person of interest in the case.

However, Palacios was found in San Antonio Tuesday evening and didnot have his daughter with him.

Investigators have not said if Palacios has been cleared.

The baby is described as being 30-inches tall and 20 pounds.
