Arrest Made In Fatal Rittenhouse Village Court Shooting
A 43-year-old man was killed in the shooting.

City of Houston: A suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of a man at 7201 Rittenhouse Village Court about 1:10 a.m. on Saturday (October 19) is in police custody.The suspect, Harold Lawrence Walton (b/m, 35), is charged with murder in the 174th State District Court.
A current booking photo of Walton is attached to this news release.The victim, Marc Alvin Thomas, 43, was pronounced dead at the scene. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Duncan and Officer B. Rothberg reported:According to witnesses, Mr. Thomas and the suspect, Walton, were involved in a confrontation inside a residence at the above address that continued into the street. Once outside, Walton shot Thomas, who was unarmed.
Walton then fled the scene on foot.About 3 a.m. today (October 20), Walton was arrested without incident in a northeast Houston motel parking lot.
