Assault Rifle Used In Hotel Room Robbery
Surveillance video from America's Best Value Inn was just released by police.
HOUSTON, TX -- The Houston Police Department is searching for two men seen on video robbing a hotel with an assault rifle in northwest Houston. In a newly released surveillance video from Aug. 15, the men can be seen entering the America's Best Value Inn, located at 12170 Northwest Freeway, at 11:09 p.m., HPD wrote on YouTube.
The suspects forced their way into the victim's hotel room while in possession of an assault rifle and a handgun.
"The suspect with the handgun took the victim's wallet and then struck him in the face with the front of the gun. Prior to leaving, one of the suspects discharged their weapon, striking the wall," HPD wrote.

The first suspect is described as being in his 20s, 5’8 tall, 125 pounds, and has black hair, brown eyes, black pants. He was also wearing a maroon shirt, HPD wrote. The second suspect is also in his 20s and was wearing a gray shirt and blue jeans.
