Vayntrub knows the struggles of refugee life. To give back, she started a movement to raise awareness through her "Can't Do Nothing" campaign.
"Millions of refugees seek one thing we all take for granted: a home," she writes on her website. "While many of us are aware of the plight of the refugees, there has been very little focus on what can be done to help. What you do know is that you #CantDoNothing."

As a post-resettlement nonprofit, Amaanah Refugee Services aids in long-term integration when the federal government's initial six-month Refugee Resettlement Program support expires. Amaanah’s services provide after-school education, case management, financial assistance, women’s services, language support, employment, in-kind goods and athletics.
“Amaanah Refugee Services is revolutionizing refugee services,” said Ghulam Kehar, CEO of Amaanah Refugee Services. “Our generous donors and volunteers allow us to transform post-resettlement refugees to integrate and become truly self-sufficient.
