BASF Opens New Office In Houston’s Energy Corridor

HOUSTON, TX – BASF announced the completion of its move into the company’s new Houston offices located in Energy Tower IV, along the Katy Freeway, in the city’s Energy Corridor. Approximately 380 BASF employees moved from four Houston area sites into the new office building.

The Energy Tower VI is a class-A, LEED Gold certified, building.

Resembling the BASF North American Headquarters in Florham Park, New Jersey, the offices at Energy Tower IV offer a modern and innovative working atmosphere that incorporates contemporary design, open architecture and ample meeting and huddle room space. “Beyond providing a greater corporate identity here in Houston, this move brings us physically closer to our customers and suppliers,” said Heather Remley, BASF Senior Vice President of Petrochemicals. “It will offer those key audiences an opportunity to see how we are connected as one company and how we deliver intelligent, sustainable solutions.”

Energy Tower IV will serve as headquarters to BASF’s Petrochemicals business, the Engineering & Maintenance function and their trading subsidiary; Intertrade. Several other BASF businesses and most support functions will also reside in the new facility.
