Bob Seger Launches Possible Farewell Tour

Legendary Rocker has scheduled performances in Houston, Dallas and Austin in October for North American Tour

HOUSTON, TX — Bob Seger & the Silver Bullet Band have announced national tour dates that include stops in Houston, Dallas and Austin.

The legendary rocker announced the launch of the 2017 Runaway Train North American Tour, that will also included appearances with Nancy Wilson of Heart on selected dates

The 72-year old rock legend whose breakout hit “Night Moves” made him a household name, makes his first stop in Texas, playing the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in The Woodlands on Oct. 19 with pre-sale tickets available June 13.

Seger will follow up his Houston show with an appearance at the Ford Center at the Star in Dallas on Oct. 21, followed by his last Texas appearance at Austin’s Frank Erwin Center on Oct. 24.

According to Seger’s fan website, more concert dates and stops in Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Seattle, and others will be announced at a later date.

On May 22, Seger announced on his website that he was making his final appearance at The Palace of Auburn Hills for a show there in September, hinting this is a farewell tour for Bob Seger & the Silver Bullet Band
