Bounty Hunter Kills Wanted Man In West Houston Shooting
The Harris County Sheriff's Office is investigating the shooting and will refer the case to a grand jury.
HOUSTON, TX — A bounty hunter shot and killed a wanted man in the process of trying to bring him in Monday evening.
The bounty hunter tracked the man down at an apartment complex at 19231 Park Row Drive at approximately 6:30 p.m., according to the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office.
The man was in his car with a woman and an infant in the parking lot of the complex when the bounty hunter blocked him at an exit gate and got out of his car with a handgun drawn. The victim drove in reverse toward the bounty hunter, who fired into the car, striking the man as it passed, according to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.

The victim, who was pronounced dead, was wanted for family violence in Harris County, according to authorities.

The man was 24 years old, but the identities of the victim and bounty hunter have not been released.
The Harris County Sheriff's Department is investigating the shooting, and the case will be referred to a grand jury to decide what, if any, charges will be brought, Gonzalez said.
