Boy, 15, Killed In Shagbark Drive Shooting
No charges have been filed in the case at the time.
From The City of Houston: Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a juvenile male at 9118 Shagbark Drive about 1 a.m. today (Nov. 27).The victim is identified as Kenneth Benjamin, Jr., 15.HPD Homicide Division Sergeant T. Simmons and Detective S. Overstreet reported:Officers responded to a shooting call at a residence at the above address and learned Mr. Benjamin sustained a gunshot wound to the head. Paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene. A second male, 15, claimed he was in the same room as Benjamin when Benjamin fatally shot himself.The investigation is continuing.
