Brutal Beating And Robbery Caught On Video

Police are searching for three men who robbed a Verizon store Sept. 21.

HOUSTON, TX — The Houston Police Department is searching for three men who were caught on video robbing a Verizon store Sept. 21 in South Houston. A cleaning crew was in the store at 3:49 a.m. at 10900 Gulf Freeway when the incident occurred, HPD wrote on YouTube.

The cleaning crew heard a loud noise and saw someone breaking into the business. The cleaning crew ran towards the back door to escape but only one managed to get away while the other was caught by the suspects and dragged back into the business, HPD said. The victim was then brutally assaulted by the three masked suspects. The suspects were unable to get into the safe, so no property was stolen, HPD added.

Crime Stoppers may pay up to $5,000 for information leading to the charging and/or arrest of the suspect in this case. Information may be reported by calling 713-222-TIPS (8477) or submitted online at www.crime-stoppers.org.
